Covid-19: India reports 7,554 new cases and 223 more deaths in 24 hours; active caseload at 85,680

India has reported 7,554 new cases and 223 fresh Covid-related deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union health ministry said on Wednesday. The country has also seen a decline in active cases, with the current active caseload standing at 85,680. With 14,123 recoveries in the last 24 hours, the number of people, who have recovered from the disease so far, has been pushed to 4,23,38,673. The current recovery rate in the country has been recorded at 98.60%.
